Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity conducted through their account.

Educators may create and manage learning sessions and invite students to participate via authenticated tokens or session join codes.

Users must not share access credentials, session codes or platform access with unauthorised individuals.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt the platform;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
  • Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit platform content without explicit written permission;
  • Upload unlawful, malicious or inappropriate content;
  • Use Breakthrough to make diagnostic or management decisions about real patients.

5. AI Features

Breakthrough may use artificial intelligence to provide simulated patient conversations, observational media, educational feedback and other learning features.

AI-generated responses may contain errors or inaccuracies.

Breakthrough's underlying clinical case data and simulation rules are intended to control the clinical scenario; however, users should independently evaluate all information presented.

6. Intellectual Property

Breakthrough Medical Solutions Ltd and its licensors retain all rights to the platform, software, branding, case materials, educational content and other proprietary materials unless otherwise stated.

You may use the platform only for its intended educational purpose.

7. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee that Breakthrough will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, or curriculum updates.

8. Third-Party Services

Breakthrough may use third-party services including cloud infrastructure, AI providers and analytics or communication services.

Use of these services may be subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Breakthrough is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on simulated clinical information for real-world clinical decisions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by UK law.
